subdivision is impt. pleasepleaseplease COUNT! subdivide and come in correctly. we have quite alot of off-beat entrances, so subdividing is very impt. to the judges, these late or early entrances are very obvious. even if its made by only one person. and subdivide so that we can stay with the tempo. dont rush or slow down whenever you like. and please subdivide on your own. dont depend on your stand partner to do it for you. if you follow others, by the time you come in, it will alr be a split second late. like for overture at bar 108-111, you need to subdivide. and danse at bar 171, 180 too.
dynamics too. crescendo nicely, same for decrescendo. when it is suppose to be piano, then please follow. forte then play loud. remember to follow. try to maintain a nice tone and dont scream. especially when playing those high notes. like danse at bar 54. PIANO! bar 171, 180 too. and those minims in overture. (eg. bar 37, 39) play soft when required.
articulations. overture bar 10, 14, 48, 82, 102. slur only the first 2 and the fifth&sixth notes. dont join the second note to the third note. all the staccato and slurs in danse must have difference. dont slur when not suppose to.
9 more days left. (since its alr like 2315, on my computer) this will be our only SYF together as clarinets'09. make this good, memorable. we'll go up there, on stage, and do our very best. and leave the stage with no regrets. okay? few more days left, lets go all out and work hard. jiayou! (:

Just wondering, are you all like super excited about the section tee? Hahah. Erm cos. right. we're not gnna make the tee cos er we're like gnna have band tee, and then.. Okay it's a very long story, -.- And i think the design will look horrible because of the resolution thingy.
Whatever it is haha, the moral of the story is that we're not gnna do it ._.
