Hey, I don't care whether what you're going to think about me or any other current seniors after I post this but I'm still posting it. And NO, they didn't complain to me. I have my own means of finding out.

SYF is only like, less than 3 months away. If you think that's plenty of time, think again. You guys are already more than a decade old, so where does that leave 3 months? If you think you learn slower than others, then isn't it just logical to work twice as hard as others and not complain? You may think that "Oh, she's not that pro herself, so why is she lecturing us?" but you guys are the ones taking part in SYF 2009, not me, no matter how noob I am, it won't affect the results that PHSSB is going to get. So if you guys all decided to ignore this post altogether, I can't stop you either. You guys will be getting the results, be it Silver, Gold, Bronze, or even COP, not me. You guys already had that mock SYF and gotten 53%. It's not even the real judges you're facing. If you're happy with a COP, then go ahead, slack, play, do whatever you want. But I believe all of you want a Silver, or even Gold. It doesn't drop from the sky okay? It all takes hardwork. It's all practice and practice and practice. Why do you think all your seniors keep on pestering you to practise if you can like, become the best player in the whole wide world overnight?

Other bands are like, having 6 practices per week, and they get their Silvers and Golds. I'm not kidding. Go look at AMKSS, CHS, and all the other bands. They have much more practices than you guys do. So there's no reason to complain. And if you guys want to repeat what happened in the hall 2 years ago, where all of us walked out in tears, there's no stopping you either. But once you've stepped on the stage, there's no point regretting.

Yes, I haven't been going down to PHSSB since 1792385629756709265235 years ago. So I'm not sure how you guys are fairing. This, I admit. But since you guys have gotten 53% for mock SYF, that means you guys still have plenty of work to do before reaching the Silver standard. So don't tell your seniors that you have practised enough. Yes yes, the band does not consist of only clarinets. But you guys still contribute to the points, or contribute to the deduction of points, anyway.

And regarding your SL? He's only doing his job. Have you ever put yourselves into his shoes? He's called SECTION LEADER for some reasons okay. He's responsible the whole section. Maybe you guys can say I'm biased, I'm just helping him, blah blah blah. But the truth is, he'll need to bear the responsibility if something happened like instruments go missing. And did you guys try explaining to him or at least talk to him nicely before yelling? Maybe he yelled at you, but it takes two hands to clap. So if you think he's at fault, then where does that leave you? And is it even fair to him that you guys treat him with no respect? If you want respect from him, then ask yourselves whether you have respected him. If you ask me, I'll say no. And no, I'm not biased. Ask the rest of the alumnis I'll bet you all my angbao money that they'll say the same thing.

You know, this post is free for all to delete if you're unhappy. After all, I'm just a freaking Alumni right? Maybe it's really not my problem anymore what you guys get for SYF but still, don't you want to at least show to other irritating people who looked down on PHSSB that what you guys can do? Even my workmate was like "Hah, Bronze? My school's band got scolded 'coz they got Gold." You want that to happen to you? Of course you'll want a result you can boast about right? And you'll need COOPERATION if you want to achieve that.
